Black Kyurem and White Kyurem. Pokemon Black and White 2.
When they were first revealed, I laughed at the designs and just wanted to ignore they existed. But then I opened my mind a bit.
I don't like Sugimori's art style anymore. I learned this long ago when the 5th gen starters were revealed. I loved them, but ugh his style just ruined oshawott. The same thing happened with these two designs. While I admit I still don't like the concept of pokemon fusing, and I still get a bit irked by the asymmetrical designs...
But after drawing them, I've come to love them. Quickly splased these with a bit of color after taking them from my doodlebook.
I take artistic liberty to get rid of what sugimori's art makes me hate them.

Personaly I belive Sugimori just draws finished designs nowdays. Designs done by other people. If a pokemon was designed, he can't do much than do an official art based from the reference he received. Therefore eg long arms probably aren't fault of his 'style' (his style is different anyway), but are caused under 'limitation' the source material gave him.
